Here since 2004, we’ve delivered product solutions for startups to enterprises, including Barry’s, Microsoft, MedMen, Barnes & Noble, The Athletic, OneLogin, and more. How You Fit In
We need a solution-oriented Account Executive skilled in generating leads and attaining a quarterly quota against a new book of global business focused on the EMEA region.
You’ll be joining our Sales team, which is regionally located in the US and Prague, while working closely with dozens of passionate members on our Design, Engineering, Product and Marketing teams.
In short: We’re looking for someone we can trust to help STRV grow globally, and that’s where you come in.

Your Role Will Be To:
At STRV, you have full autonomy in how you generate new business, leveraging your own network while taking on inbound leads generated by Marketing and our referrals. You also have our extensive contact database to use for your outbound activities. Alongside our Product Architect, you will craft engagement strategies, estimate timelines and budgets, assemble client proposals, and, ultimately, give our team a chance to deliver great results for our clients — which is the core of what STRV does. Once a deal is closed, you transition the client to a dedicated Account Manager, who manages the relationship alongside a Product Manager.

Identify, uncover and develop partnership opportunities in target markets
Work with Marketing on targeting selected companies as a part of our Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy
Work with the Product Architect to strategize the client solution, develop estimates, and craft proposals to move opportunities through the sales cycle
Negotiate contracts and Statement of Work terms
Take responsibility for generating a set amount of closed deals / billings for a full year
Maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities equal to 3x the annual billings that is accurately reflected in the CRM to allow for accurate revenue planning and tracking
Successfully close new business opportunities that support STRV’s service offerings
Stay active within the startup and tech community — conferences, events, digital, etc.
Proactively report on learnings and valuable feedback to leadership
Be the face of the company while doing it justice
We Expect You to Have:
2+ years of sales experience with focus on prospecting / lead generation

5+ years of experience in closing new business deals (pref at a tech or digital agency)
Experience in selling to startups, founders and technology executives
A track record of achieving or exceeding sales quota
An entrepreneurial spirit that makes you a reliable self-starter
Natural curiosity and a history of learning new things quickly
Great organizational skills and the ability to handle responsibilities with little oversight
Experience with tracking all of your sales activity and reports in CRM – we use Hubspot
A passion for digital products; you’re up to speed with tech driving the future
A strong focus on solving problems and driving new client business
Great communication skills; you easily connect and build relationships
Compensation
Fixed base salary
Uncapped commissions paid quarterly based on target achievement
